Welcome to Mossy Puddle, a cozy all-day preschool in Belfair, WA where childhood moves at a gentle pace and learning unfolds naturally. Rooted in nature and the principles of slow childhood, we offer a warm, inclusive space where every child—including those with motor or language delays—is seen, supported, and celebrated. With a focus on connection and curiosity, our experienced team provides thoughtful, individualized care that nurtures confidence and a lifelong love of learning.

The Setting:

Tucked away on five quiet acres, Mossy Puddle offers a warm, home-based childcare setting where kids can explore, play, and grow. We spend lots of time outside—rain or shine—with a mud kitchen, garden beds, and open fields that invite digging, running, and discovery.

Indoors, our cozy, licensed space includes a sunny playroom with a built-in structure, areas for storytelling and creative play, and personal touches that help each child feel right at home.
