Hi. I’m Jana, owner at Mossy Puddle.

Jana Jones is the founder of Mossy Puddle. With a background in mathematics and data analytics, she spent several years working in the corporate world before leaving to create the kind of learning environment she wanted for her own children in Belfair.

She is deeply passionate about education and about building spaces where children can learn in ways that respect both childhood and curiosity. At Mossy Puddle, small group care, time outdoors, storytelling, creativity, and gentle academic foundations come together to support the whole child.

Jana is licensed through DCYF as an in home childcare provider and also facilitates the Mossy Puddle homeschool co op, helping families build a strong, supportive learning community.

When she is not working with children or building curriculum, Jana enjoys sewing, fiber arts, and backpacking throughout the Pacific Northwest.
