Jana - Founder / Teacher

I am passionate about creating a warm, inclusive space where every child is truly seen, valued, and supported. With a deep commitment to neurodiversity inclusion, I believe that every child—no matter their learning style, sensitivities, or challenges—deserves care that meets them where they are. My approach is unhurried and present, allowing children to move at their own pace, build confidence, and feel safe to explore the world around them.

Nature is at the heart of my work and daily life. I find that time outdoors is deeply grounding and regulating, not just for children but for myself as well. Whether it's feeling the earth beneath our feet, listening to birdsong, or playing in the rain, connecting with nature helps children self-regulate, spark curiosity, and feel a sense of belonging in the world.

I focus on gentle guidance, emotional regulation, and direct communication, always seeking to understand and uplift the child in front of me. Rather than seeing behaviors as problems, I see them as communication—opportunities to connect, support, and foster growth. At Mossy Puddle, every child is met with patience, respect, and a deep belief in their goodness.
