Waldorf- Inspired, Inclusive Care

Welcome to Mossy Puddle, a cozy all-day preschool in Belfair, WA where childhood is honored and learning unfolds naturally. Inspired by Waldorf education and grounded in nature, we create a nurturing space where every child—including those with motor or language delays—feels seen, supported, and celebrated. Our experienced team offers gentle, individualized care that fosters confidence, curiosity, and a true love of learning.

The Setting:

Set in a cozy residential home on five secluded acres, Mossy Puddle offers children a warm, welcoming environment with plenty of room to explore and grow. We spend hours outdoors each day, rain or shine, following the “no bad weather” rule. Our shaded mud kitchen, garden beds, and wide grassy field provide endless opportunities for digging, running, building, and connecting with the natural world.

Inside, the home has been thoughtfully transformed into a licensed childcare space. A spacious sunroom with a built-in play structure and a cozy gathering area invites movement, storytelling, and imaginative play. Each child has a personal cubby and a designated table spot marked with their photo, helping them feel at home and part of the community.
